DDA’s Pratham Pag Cadets Gave a Spectacular Performance Cadets Sanandita Kar, Priyal Khare, Priya Verma, and Mekala Hasitha performed a dance on the Telugu song Pranavalaya The Indian Army’s Surya Command had organized the event on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The Surya Command (Central Command) of the Indian Army celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas at Pacific Mall, Dehradun. The purpose of this event was to pay tribute to the Indian soldiers who displayed unparalleled courage and made the supreme sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War. On this day, the nation remembers the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to reclaim Indian posts from Pakistani infiltrators in the Kargil district (Ladakh). During the ceremony, martyrs of the war and their families—especially the Veer Naris (war widows)—were honored. At the event, cadets of the Pratham Pag Foundation Course, run by Sandeep Sir at Doon Defence Academy—Sanandita Kar, Priyal Khare, Priya Verma, and Mekala Hasitha—won great applause with their mesmerizing dance performance on the Telugu song Pranavalaya.
